IT System Admin / Dev Ops

The Information Technology System / DevOps Administrator is responsible for system and network administration, and for providing technical support to a team of 60+ users working with both advanced technology and day-to-day IT tools. This includes troubleshooting diverse issues and overseeing the maintenance and management of servers.
The position is onsite in our offices.
Responsibilities include:
- Efficient system and network administration, ensuring robustness and security.
- Providing end-to-end technical support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Proactively managing servers, docker containers, and cloud services, primarily within AWS.
- Implementing, administering and troubleshooting Windows/Linux Desktops and Servers, ensuring optimal performance.
- Managing Active Directory, including setup, user accounts, and security protocols.
- Overseeing and optimizing networking infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, and WIFI configurations.
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts in PHP, Python, and Bash to enhance system efficiency.
- Spearheading research, acquisition, and implementation of new tools and services from inception to deployment, demonstrating innovation and independence.
You must have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT (2 years+) / DevOps (1 year+), with demonstrated expertise in system and network administration.
- Advanced proficiency in AWS Cloud Services, (VPC, Architecture, Networking, Security, EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, Lambda)
- Strong background in managing Windows/Linux Desktops and Servers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, WIFI).
- Skills in scripting with PHP, Python, and Bash for automation and system management.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and communication skills, suitable for a fast-paced work environment.
- Relevant certifications in System Administration, AWS, or related fields.
- Experience with DevOps & Monitoring tools, notably Ansible, Zabbix, and Jenkins, AWS Developer Tools.
